The Day Our Love Grew

My best friend...the love of my life

The day you asked me to be yours, is the day I realized
dreams do come true. I’ll never forget that feeling of
shock & excitement. Saying I was happy doesn’t truly
explain the feelings that were racing thru me.
I was completely ecstatic. Believing in my heart
that friendship is all we would ever have.
“This isn’t real…I must be hearing things…this is too perfect to be
happening to me. No, no, no, this can’t true, I need to hear it again.
“What did you say? You want us to be exclusive? Like a relationship?
With me? Stop playing with me…that’s not funny. Tell me again.”
I had to hear it at least one more time. After the 4th time, I
Was beginning to understand I was living my
happiest moment, right then and there.
Since that day, my life has never been the same.
The day our love grew thru our friendship.
