PROLOGUE to night of the yeti

This is the prolouge to a novel that I,ve been working on.I have just rewritten this.

The moon was full and cast it's shimmering glow across the lake,as the massive manlike beast wandered around the lake shore destroying everything that laid in its path.

The mid-summer's night air seemed to be alive with the never ending nocturnal
orchestra of nature.
The frog's intrinsic croaking sounds that sprang up from the shoreline,sent
the beast's head swimming in pain. The cool dew-bitten grass that laid beneath
its feet,felt like fire to its flesh. These things that usually brought great pleasure to the beast on such a hot humid Texas summer night,now only caused the creature
excruciating pain.
Pain wrenched through the beast's enormous body. It was a torment unlike anything it had ever known before,that kept it hunting, destroying,and searching for the relief that it so desperately desired,
. Not able to comprehend what was causing its pain,the beast howled out in agony. Then the massive creature stumbled blindly into the woods that surrounded
the small town of overton texas.
