This Everlasting Moment

This poem is about the moments I want to hold onto forever

Lying under this shade of night
these stars were made for us
and we hold each other
underneath this cosmic blanket
keeps us safe from the world
the summer breeze soars
tickling our arms and legs
it makes for warm laughs and smiles
our souls become one
we are a single moment in time
one that will bring back those smiles
and my everlasting love for you
