Broken

Now time to tell what’d been untold

Came something far beyond control

While deep inside, I felt so cold

Before you I spoke words so bold

These words I’d never spoke before

My thoughts released and came a pour

Yet simply you would answer “No”

My arms then I would tightly hold

It helped support my broken soul.
