To my Honeybee

A poem for my one and only love.

I thought saying goodbye was the hardest thing ever,
That was until I realized how much I have missed you.
I miss you so much all I can do is cry,
Wishing you were here to dry my eyes.

I love you so much I can’t breathe without you.
You’re the air that I breathe and the one that I love.
You’re the one I live for and the one I look up to.

You’re the one I give myself to.
I give you my heart, my mind, my body, and soul.
You have all of me now and you’re in control.

You hold my heart in your hands
All I ask you to do, is be gentle with it
And not break it in two.

When you look in my eyes you can see a new world.
One with both of us there and we’re never apart.
You see into my soul and know how I feel.
You know when I’m scared, sad, happy, and mad.
You love me through everything good and bad.
