Whimsical Can Be Purple

At a special season in time
tiny indigo winged-things
play the blues,
all the while
exclaiming their wild and witty clues
finding hiding places filled with giggles.
There's no denial, nary a hush,
tinkling chuckles in a lilac bush
bring silly news
in the orchid breeze.
Pixies dancing to turquoise tunes,
and fairies singing fuchsia songs
is a colorful tease.
Lingering or lost,
it doesn't cost
when laughing is lovable.
Let's go to that place
