Investigating weapons of mass destruction in the Arctic can carry a severe penalty.

This novel in-process explores repercussions stemming from exposure of nuclear, biological, chemical, and missile weapons tests carried out in the Arctic beginning in the 1960s. It was years before the governments concerned admitted that damage caused by these tests included human beings - an acknowledgment only made public because people with access to confidential data were willing to speak out. However, speaking the truth can carry a severe penality - as becomes abundantly clear in the novel itself!
