Softest velvet
The one curl along your cheek
Watching you sleep reminds me of angels in repose

Smelling sweet and clean and new
I look into your eyes and see the whole world as you do –
Exciting, wondrous, full of enchantment

Laughter such the world only hears for a short time
Rings from you
“See me, world! I see you!”

The essence of hope and joy and love
Sometimes the only reason the world goes on
Is in your tiny embrace
