just a poem about pain

My face and heart are black and blue
from all the pain he put me through.
He took my heart and broke it in two,
my face he smashed in two.
I thought it was common so I let it happen
until he hurt my child.
Now I'm in prison to pay for my sin,
but the devil got his due.
He suffered at my hand not God's.
Was it right or was it wrong?
