My "entry" for the February poem quotation competition. |
Heart of Strength, Soul of Courage O, the power of the heart! Love--God's finest art: The greatest of all things Embodied in the King of Kings When set upon another, When they become your lover, O, what strength one feels To know true love is real! To feel that one can do anything, And try it all, you're not to blame. What might the spirit has! Unrivaled through the lands. The emotion felt in war Of knights and magic yore When all the people depend Upon your word to defend! Their love reaches out to you Hope and courage comes out, too. Will you take a hold? Love truely makes one bold. To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage. ~ Lao-Tzu (Line count: 20 (minus the title, breaks, and quote, with the quote: 23).) |
