failure

I was dealing with a friends death when I wrote this

I see a white light
At the end of the tunnel
As I go farther
It gets closer
I slip and fall
The light goes out
I can feel my heart
I can feel my breath
I think to myself
This is not death
I have failed
To take my last breath
