| Amongst the Levels in England's west Stands the Tor; high and higher still Was the King of Britons laid to rest Beneath this mystic hill; Was the King's final request To return to the Island of Avalon Did his fallen Knight come to confess At the grave his King had set upon; Beneath the Tor, at his behest Free from sword and spear Etched on a cross upon his crest "Here lies King Arthur and his wife, Guinevere." |
