Where Did The Time Go?

as my little girl grows up.....

WHERE DID THE TIME GO?

Once upon a time,
Not so long ago.
There was a little girl,
Who wouldn't let Mommy go.

She would snuggle so close
And Mommy would say,
How about you go
Outside and play.

Then came a time
Things changed one, two, three
And the little girl no longer had time
For her Mommy you see

She would call to her girl
Come to Mommy please, please
When no answer was found
Mom fell to her knees

Oh why, oh why
Did time go so fast
She was just a little girl
But that is all in the past

So cherish those days
Of little girl smiles
And snuggles so close
That you get from a child

But know that its all
Going to be OK
Because my little girls growing up
And its suppose to be that way
