Random poem from my mind, tell me how to improve please |
| An American soldier upon his back The man looks left and right, for any sight of an enemies attack Unknown heroes of the war You watch my back, I watch yours The heroes who do it because it needs to be done Not for the spotlight or the anything in the long run Just does what is needed His deeds are all unheeded Maybe he gets a medal for risking his life Even though he fights in someone else’s strife The deeds of the battlefield forgotten when he comes home No respect towards him is shown Unknown heroes of the war Hoping just to make it back to their door Unknown heroes without them, where would we be? |
