Empty Shell

Flashes of light.
Oh what a sight.
Spinning, swirling,
Crashing, burning.
Lifeless, yet breathing.
Heartless, yet broken.
Shell of a man,
Yet dieing inside.
Fighting for control,
Of these forsaken emotions.
Rage fighting joy,
Pain fighting kindness,
Fear fighting love.
Conflicts inside.
Trying to hide,
From the rest of the world,
In my empty shell.
