A fun contest us chatties did one night

If a sponge could talk I bet it would say
My world is more beautiful beyond the bay
Creatures so graceful swimming by
What a sight, it makes me sigh
A dull moment doesn’t exist down here
Life is perfect to all who are near
Night is more lovely than the day
The stars shine down all the way
The waves rock all around to sleep
It is something all long to keep
Being a sponge is something I love
It reminds me a lot of a white dove
