Out From The Darkness

A path walked by a mother and child

Out from the darkness,that had inprisioned the woman and child,
unveiled the shadowed mountains path that lay before them.
A mist clouded their way,as unseen eyes watch them from
the dark silence waiting for one to stumble into the sharp teeth
waiting shadowing each stride,for the edge was steep and narrow.
As the mist changed into a rain day by day they made their way
and where they past flowers bright began to grow.
From the very edge of the crumbling stone strength had growen
behind them the fading darkness,before them lay the great river to
cross,they rested here.
And while they slept the rain became the snow.
Unseen eyes watched,waited and did behold the darkness flee
to its very edge as great golden wings were unfold and they flew
never to walk the darkness alone evermore.
And the light accompainied the woman and child from then on
Once upon a time and long ago...
