Mother drinks
and father screams
she hears those voices in her dreams

Life is hard
for this small girl
she sees the bad in this cruel world

Daddy Beats
and Mommy cries
she can't feel love, but tries and tries

black and blue
along her face
how can she escape from that place?

Love and hope
can see her through
Who will help her, tell me, who?
