Alfred is Lost

A boy lost in the forest.

         The boy disappeared into the forest. He was five and it was cold out there. Everyone searched, without success. As darkness fell, his mother cried. His father swore.

         With a grin, the wolf came out of the trees, carrying the laughing child on his shoulders.

         The sheriff shot the wolf. The boy cried for weeks.
