I look into an endless sky
Covered in dark clouds that hide the sun
My soul is shadowed
My heart is weak
It calls out for an end
An end to the darkness
An end to the pain
Forever my life has been shadowed by these clouds
The endless clouds of time
The void of life that subdues us all
The pain of love lost for eternity

But through the clouds
A light begins to shine
A single ray of hope
It tears its way through the thick
Makes its way too my face
Invigorating my senses
And awaking my inner self
So lost to the cold dark of night

Could I love again
The answer is unclear
Could I try again
The answer has yet been determined
But through my tears
And the heartache of years
A single ray of hope
Has awoken my most inner fears
