The Plane

written for a chat room contest on WDC

A plane flies in the sky
I wish I could be the plane
So I could fly away
away from my problems
away from the stress
away from the madness

I just want to escape
or fly back to a time
when my life made sense
or fly to a place so far away
away from it all
then I won’t have to deal

If I was that plane
I could travel the world
travel far away
far away then I could just
forget everything
even for a little while
