Look after me

A friend what me to write this for her so i did just that. Enjoy.

“Look after me”

From now and the past the space in between seems to be gone

It seems as though it was me you always looked upon

I never realized why you always seemed to hang around

Your motive for all of this I have finally found

No matter what, through thick or thin

It’s you that has always been

There for me and keeping me out of harm’s way

Keeping me alive for at least one more day

It’s almost as though you were my vision

Making sure I didn’t make a wrong decision

Now as I step back I can finally see

You were someone sent to look after me
