A couplet poem about flowers long waited first rain after a dry summer |
Grey clouds form on a cool windy evening, Flowers awake for their nightly blessing. Droplets of water begin to descend, Brings their suffering to a joyful end. The water sinks into the dry hard ground, Curing the flowers of their summer wound. The small dry flowers buds begin to bloom, Releasing their lovely hidden perfume. |
