I’m Through

I’m through with this,
I guess it just isn’t meant to be,
There is no hope,
You’ll never love me,
I just can’t keep trying.

I’ve given up,
But it still hurts,
Because you are always in my thoughts,
Is it not enough that,
I see you at school.

Why must I suffer through,
All of this pain you cause me,
It may be unintentional,
But that doesn’t stop it,
From hurting me.

I still love you,
And I probably always will,
It hurts me beyond belief,
That I failed to make you,
See me in a positive light.

I’m through,
It just hurts too much,
So I quit I just want the pain to end
