And in the night, when you thought you were all alone,
I will come to you and sing to you sweet lullabies
I will send to you the sweetest dreams,
So that you may smile when you wake...
So that your pretty face will never know
How it feels to frown...

I would wish for the night to never end
I would wish for your heart to never
Stop its steady beating in my ear
I would wish for time to go on -
On and on, forever while the world turned,
So that I could stay there -
Safe and warm in your arms -
At peace while the world turned.

Safety, warmth, lovers never apart.
I would hold your hand forever
