Old folk can be annoying. Alot deserve more respect than we give. Cant be easy sometimes.

A veteran of war and just a child,
So hard faced when she should be mild,
Subjected to destruction and such pain,
She always runs out into the rain.

She made it through and made a life,
She became a mother and became a wife,
Through it all she paid the cost,
Of her childhood and of what she lost.

Now so old and in need of aid,
Getting tired; inhibitions fade,
She changed the world in her day,
But can’t afford to pay her way.
