Acting has had an impact on my life and it shall be my profession in the years to come.

walk onto the stage
enter that cage
match
snatch the audience
use the dramatical science
to get their attention
and not to mention
the lights
sights
tights
you try with all your might
to be the entertainer

recite, no don't do that
become the person
on stage
become the character
full of life

intermission
quick revision
to your blocking you made
the night before
run over lines
last minute check
nervous wreck
i think not
you've prepared too long to
let this one slide
determination in your eyes
you bring
your hands together
you wring
your hands together
and step out for act two

they respect you
applaud you
for the energy you show
and how your lines flowed
how you remembered them
only God knows
but in the struggle of life
you managed
and bandaged
what was wrong
and made even better what was right
to go out on that stage
in that cage
and give the best performance
the best performance of your life
