Pain + God = Happiness

This poem is about a person who learns that if she keeps her faith in Jesus.

I've learned to never give up
To keep my head towards the sky
I've learned to abide through it all
And know it's ok to cry
I've learned that my dilemmas are not everlasting
That suffering fades away
Through all the questions why
in God's arms I'll stay
I've learned to trust in Jesus
To pray when things go wrong
To call on him in trouble
Yet he was there all along
I've learned to keep my head up
To try and try again
I've learned to be determined
Because Jesus is my friend
I'vve learned he'll never leave me
Nor forsake me too
My help comes from the Lord
My praises to him is due
i've learned to laugh in pain
To smile yet soul a torn
I've learned to keep my faith
For there's a blessing in the thorn
