A Beacon of Hope

I apologise for the depressing nature of this one...but its kinda happy...

I want to thank you for everything you’ve done,
You’ve helped me through, got rid of pain
Stood by me when I felt down,
And made me feel like it’s sunny, not rain.

You stand out like a lighthouse,
And guide me to safety,
To the happiness you give me,
From out of a stormy sea.

You can find joy in anything,
You can make all the pain float away.
I don’t know what I’d do without you,
Forever I want you to stay.

Until you came I was stuck in a hole,
I saw no way out, lost all sight.
But you handed me a rope and I climbed,
Finally reaching you and holding you tight.
