Destined Love

A love that is meant to be won't be denied.

We watched from a distance
hiding those feelings in our hearts.
Fearing if we took that chance
it would only fall apart.

Love can be a risky game
when your heart is on the line.
Knowing that with one wrong move
you could be hurt one more time.

But a destined love won't be denied
for it's a love that's meant to be.
A risk that I was willing to take
to have you here with me.

Still defensive of our hearts
we took each step with ease.
Then during one emotional prayer
God showed me our love was meant to be.

So here we are still together
only now as husband and wife.
Still loving each other passionately
we are now one for life.
