Ever had that feeling? Like you're surrounded by people, yet utterely alone? I have.

Groups of people pass by me
I sit watching them, studying them,
But no one notices me.

Have you ever had that feeling?
Like you’re surrounded by people
And yet, utterly alone.

I have.
I live with that feeling
It’s like being transparent

But at the same time,
You’re completely visible
It’s only that no one takes the time to notice

Notice that you’re there
That you’re still sitting right beside them
Waiting to be seen, spoken to

Yet, no one sees me.
They walk past me.
Me, the transparent.
