Hellseeker

The hunter becomes the hunted. Written for 55 word challenge.

    Entering the filthy room was a mistake.  He wasn’t prepared for such horrors.  He glanced around and saw them left and right, clinging above.  One scurried beneath him, another screamed from the back.
    Beaten by fear alone he quickly scrambled out.  No matter how desperate, he shouldn’t have replied to the want-ad from the daycare
