Saved From the Darkness

Small poem inspired by my girlfriend.

I sit alone in the dark, pondering
Like a lone traveler, wandering
I'm lost without a clue

This emptiness I contemplate
My loneliness I ruminate
I don't know what to do

Suddenly, a ray of light
Illuminates the gloomy night
And I'm now living life anew

Maybe God is intervening
Finally, life has a meaning
And it's all because of you
