Think Green

A poem about global warming and such.

look out of the window
into the empty sky
if there is no moon
dont wonder why
jealous man shot it down
and there it lies
stars glitter alone
and there it cries

look into the fumes
we kill what we breed
all it needed was humanity
and the evil seed
to destroy the planet
destroy us all
what we burn is what we breathe
we are going to fall

addicted to the light
and addicted to the power
sources run out
hour after hour
we are inhumane
can't hear the cry
this is the big day
now we all die

and its not hard
make love in the dark
dont watch tv
take a stroll in the park
turn down the heat
and cuddle up
encourage green
not the red of blood.
