Old Man

Not-so rhyming poem but has feelings in it I imagined a scene but I could not do it rhymes

An old man came into town
as happy as he could be;
until he recognized the place
as a scene he hates to see.

He remembered the place as his nightmare
a context in his fears;
And when he saw his old house
He shattered into tears.

Memories kept flashing in
as he walked across the road;
Pictures of his child
appeared in the old man's mind.

He wife left him some twelve years ago
along with his only son;
And so he left the village
Never knowing his wife has come back...:(
