The Chicken and the Snake

This is my first short story. 55 words.

Yesterday, as I walked through the garden, I noticed a deadly brown snake
approaching the chicken shed, at a very fast pace.

Never one to panic in dire circumstances, I simply did what needed to be done.
I picked up the shotgun and blew its head off.

And what a mess that made!

Feathers everywhere!
