Torn

A time when i felt the world was against me

My mind’s crowded all the room’s near gone
But my will is stronger, I can hold on
One step closer to the edge and I dare to look down
Seems my journey won’t be that long

I stand here take a breath and it slowly seeps in
And wonder why existence sometimes seems without reason,
Experiences in life show a broken heart
Kept together by hope, life’s light ever piercing the dark

Attitudes of other’s sometimes bring my blood to boil
When people purposely ignore my struggle and toil
I’ve come to grips with the fact that they really don’t care
But is this justified by telling them just whatever they want to hear?

Now my life is changed and I’ve been enlightened, I found the eye of my tornado
Armed with friends in hand, my life plan its ever forward I’m gonna go
Constant vigilance and my friends encouragement, aid in my success
With building pressure and placed in the spot light I show my very best
Because I know I can, said I can and proved I can on the road of my never-ending quest
