This is a short poem that proclaims both beauty and jealousy |
| In the stillness of the night The sun falls into the darkness The moon takes its place Hiding all but one reflection But in the early morning When the sun lifts over the skies Dancing upon the restless waters The air becomes warm and crisp Leaving not one scent of night behind But the dew left on the lilies As ransom of the cresent's jealousy Toward the Morning Sun For in its presence warmth fills the air And all life is set in motion At noon it reaches sky at its highest point But then starts to fall back to Earth So after the day is over the sun shoots off a picture Of light and color across the clouds As it hides behind the horizon And the moon take its place in the sky Only to reflect the Morning Sun once again |
