As through Hades your lead
No help for the souls
Can’t pray for the dead!

Cross the Styx River
With the skeleton guide
Then to be judged
You’re at Pluto’s side!

The bad to the cave
Where they shall pay
Insufferable torment
Forever and a day

The good to the place
With the memory pool
Watch over loved ones
Forever and all

And those who know not
What they have done
Are sent to the place
Where they are at one

By the mourners they left
Are the festivals given
Do the command of death
For the sake of tradition
