escaping guilt

i am too far gone to be saved
i have done something wrong
and now i am enslaved
i stand alone along the cliffs edge
i look down and give a sigh
off i flew alone and free
i cried your name but i
didn't scream
at least not in fear
i let fall with me a single tear
