Thought I'd try one more poem (free verse), about bad stress. |
| Stress can bind you like a noose Making you give in to form a truce It often ruins good days fast And the feeling lasts and lasts It can be the beast That brings you to think your the least Brings the pain inside Then you tend to hide To wallow in self pity Where you know you are so petty It's gotten so bad now To cure it you don't know how So you finally pay the ultimate price And give up your precious life But why? You should find That stress is blind It has no control Unless you give it so Just another demon to be execised Easily killed by confidence and pride So instead of whining day and night Take the time to believe and fight |
