this is the way i feel when people try to act like they understand me

Don’t come in
Unless invited
People try to assume the way I’m feeling
Try to guess my ways
Try to make me smile
When I don’t want to
The sentence I hear the most
Is
“I want to know how you’re feeling and what you’re going through”
It’s hard to push your way into someone’s life
When they’re not quite feeling right
It pushes me away
So here’s what I say
Unless invited
Don’t come in
