I now understand why things seem so hard
i guess we're still victims of our past,
will it always prevent us from settling down?
will our relationships ever last?

The trials are endless
although we're not to blame,
but still the outcome
is always the same.

How do we learn to trust again
when betrayed many times before?
Is it any wonder
we're left feeling insecure.
