Why Do I Love You

Why do I love you, you ask
There are so many reasons why
You complete every single part of me
To me, you are the perfect guy

I prayed for God to send me an angel
Someone to make my life whole
Someone to secure my fearful heart
Someone to grab my inner soul

He placed you into my world
Looking back, there's no mistake
I was meant to love you
You are my blessing, my fate

You make me feel safe
Protected from all my fears
You make me feel needed
Dried up all the sad tears

You have healed all the wounds
That others left scarred on my heart
You have taught me to love fully
You have given my life a brand new start.
