The Darkness

I was recently diagnosed with depression and panic disorder. Here are my feelings.

I am falling
Into a world of night
I am frightened

I cry out in pain
Fear and Desperation
Oh to live again

All that I loved
Cherished, Adored
Has lost all meaning

Why live?
The taunting question
What good are you?

You are useless
Not worth it
Die, Die

I cry out once more
My voice is heard
A light

There is light
Where dark dare's not go
I feel hope

I lift my head
I taste the sun
I once more feel joy in living
