To my heart


Shattered and broken,
I lock you inside,
So from this world,
you may hide.

He promised that it
Would be Forever,
But now he’s gone,
And it’s all over.

I’m sorry that I
left you open to him
and didn’t keep
you safely in.

I’ve learned my lesson
I’ll lock you inside,
So from this world
you may always hide.
