Love’s so strong a word
A million dreams enwrapped
The wild hammering of young hearts
The comforting warmth of old.

                  Love can take you all around
                  The world, warm in fantasies
                  Love can heal, and love can hurt
                  It’s an angel’s wings, the devil’s hand.


Love can be a thousand seagulls
Love can be the stars
Love can be anything you ask of
it, solace or despair.

                  Love can, and will
                  conquer all.
