this poem is an ode to the holiday season |
| outside the halls children carol loving life laughing merry inside this space we light the fire burning chestnuts as flames leap higher. outside the halls santa's coming stores start to open mothers are running picking out pretties from sons to their mothers purchasing dreams for sons and for daughters. but inside the halls we go merrily singing decking the halls while the sleighbells are ringing and up on the roof we hear santa afoot bringing along his large sack of dreams and his reindeer are lowing while he's quietly going to places much farther away, away. to places much farther away. |
