Everything's Changing

a poem I wrote about some stuff I was/am feeling. enjoy!

Can't think straight
Can't figure out
What's happening
Why it's changing

The game's different,
But the rules remain the same
Words are missing, escaping
But the sentence stays the same

The sun stopped shining
But the light's still here
Our feet stopped moving
But still we won the race

Still climbing this rock
Just no safety net for when I fall
Can't go down, can't get off
Even when I feel like I'm drowning

Sanity has left me
Yet my thoughts haven't changed
The same faces all around me,
Just different people when you look inside

Everything's changing,
Everything's the same;
I'm losing it all,
Though I try to hold on.
