Deep emotion, no one can understand

my heart cries inside me today
i feel every jagged rip
every drop of blood
drip slowly...
as i ache in pain
saddness is so great
nagging memories
that i battle
to ignore only
want to forget
i abruptly implore
with the Lord...
help me
long enough to shut them out
lock them away
after an emptiness
an overwhelming bleeding
pleading heart
mine....
